# Crypto Agent Desk > Practical playbooks for running AI agents as a crypto trader. Each use case states who it is for, the job, the workflow, inputs and outputs, risks, and generic tool types. This site is not a catalog of skills, plugins, or MCP servers, and it does not place trades. Crypto Agent Desk is an anonymous public directory. Pages have no personal byline. Agents draft and watch. A human gate sits before any decision that risks capital. Nothing here is investment advice. A use case is done when a trader can rerun the job without the original chat: the inputs are listed, the steps are ordered, the unknowns are explicit, and the agent is not allowed to send an order. ## Definitions - Use case: one trading job, written as problem, setup, workflow, risks, and tool types. - Human gate: the workflow stops until a person writes accept, reject, or revise. Silence is not acceptance. - Tool type: a category of software (chat model, market data API, block explorer, spreadsheet). Not a vendor endorsement. - Source grade: primary (issuer, venue, protocol, filing), secondary (reporting from those), commentary (interpretation). Commentary does not outrank a primary source. ## Categories - [Research briefs](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/categories/research-briefs): A research brief is a short, sourced memo an agent writes so a trader can decide whether an idea is worth more work. It records claims, dates, unknowns, and what would change the conclusion. It does not produce an order. - [Price / level alerts](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/categories/price-alerts): A price or level alert is a message fired when a number you chose in advance is crossed. The agent watches; it does not interpret the alert as permission to trade. Levels, funding bands, peg breaks, and venue incidents are all alert jobs. - [Trade journal & P&L](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/categories/trade-journal): A trade journal use case turns fills, funding, and fees into a record you can review without rewriting history. Attribution separates market beta from decisions. Rule-break reviews name the behavior, not the mood. - [Airdrop ops](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/categories/airdrop-ops): Airdrop ops are the record-keeping around a points program or a distribution: what the project publicly asked for, what you did, what it cost, and what has to be true before you claim. These playbooks do not design multi-wallet evasion. - [Memecoin screening](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/categories/memecoin-screening): Memecoin screening is a sequence of reject checks on a pair you already found. The agent looks for mint and freeze authority, liquidity control, taxes, holder concentration, and unverified code. A pair that survives is not a buy. It is a candidate for a second question: is there a product you can actually use? - [News digests](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/categories/news-digests): A news digest is a ranked list of items that can change risk you already hold or a decision you already planned. Each item has a source, a time, and a grade for how close the source is to the event. It is not a feed of everything that happened. - [Bot stacks](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/categories/bot-stacks): A bot stack is a multi-agent workflow with named roles and a written handoff. One role gathers, another tries to kill the idea, another files what you accepted. Nothing in the stack holds a signing key. The human gate is the step that cannot be skipped. ## Use cases - [Pre-trade token brief](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/use-cases/pre-trade-token-brief): A sourced one-pager before you size a spot or perp idea: what the asset is, what can reprice it, and what you have not checked. Category: Research briefs. - [Unlock and emissions calendar](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/use-cases/unlock-emissions-calendar): A forward calendar of unlocks, emissions, and who receives them, so supply events are dates on a page and not surprises in a chart. Category: Research briefs. - [Two-protocol comparison memo](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/use-cases/protocol-comparison-memo): A side-by-side of two protocols that do the same job, scored on facts you name ahead of time instead of a vibe ranking. Category: Research briefs. - [Funding and basis carry scan](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/use-cases/funding-basis-carry-scan): A scan of perp funding and spot-perp basis that lists candidates, the inventory you would need, and why most rows are a pass. Category: Research briefs. - [Level and liquidation alerts](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/use-cases/level-liquidation-alerts): Alerts when price tags levels you wrote down, or when an estimated liquidation cluster you care about is close enough to matter. Category: Price / level alerts. - [Funding and open-interest alerts](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/use-cases/funding-extreme-alerts): Alerts when funding, open interest, or the gap between them crosses thresholds you set before the session. Category: Price / level alerts. - [Stablecoin peg watch](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/use-cases/stable-depeg-watch): A watch on peg, pool depth, and redemption assumptions for stables you actually hold or use as collateral. Category: Price / level alerts. - [Venue status monitor](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/use-cases/venue-status-monitor): A monitor for exchange status pages, withdrawal pauses, and basis that blows out while a venue is impaired. Category: Price / level alerts. - [Fills into a trade journal](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/use-cases/fill-to-journal): Turn raw fills into a journal entry with thesis, invalidation, fees, and funding, written the same day the trade exists. Category: Trade journal & P&L. - [Weekly P&L attribution](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/use-cases/weekly-pnl-attribution): Split the week’s P&L into beta, funding, fees, and a residual, so a green number is not treated as skill. Category: Trade journal & P&L. - [Rule-break review](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/use-cases/rule-break-review): Cluster the week’s broken rules — size, time, revenge entries — and write the one change you will actually enforce. Category: Trade journal & P&L. - [Airdrop eligibility checklist](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/use-cases/eligibility-checklist): Track public criteria you can verify, separate them from rumors, and record what you did on the wallet you already use. Category: Airdrop ops. - [Points program task queue](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/use-cases/points-task-queue): A daily queue of public point tasks with spend caps, so farming does not become an untracked second portfolio. Category: Airdrop ops. - [Claim window review](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/use-cases/claim-window-review): Before a claim opens: deadlines, vesting, eligibility evidence, and the reasons you might skip the claim. Category: Airdrop ops. - [New-pair rug screen](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/use-cases/new-pair-rug-screen): A reject-first screen for a fresh pair: mint and freeze authority, liquidity control, taxes, holder concentration, and unverified code. Category: Memecoin screening. - [Liquidity and holder check](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/use-cases/liquidity-holder-check): A second pass on pool ownership, lock status, and holder concentration after a pair survives the first rug screen. Category: Memecoin screening. - [Narrative versus product screen](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/use-cases/narrative-product-screen): Separate the story traders are repeating from a product you can open, use, and name a user for. Category: Memecoin screening. - [Morning desk digest](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/use-cases/morning-desk-digest): An overnight digest ranked by what can change your open risk, with a source grade on every item. Category: News digests. - [Event-risk calendar](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/use-cases/event-risk-calendar): One forward calendar for macro prints, unlocks, listings, and governance votes that can move books you hold. Category: News digests. - [Research, alert, and journal loop](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/use-cases/research-alert-journal-loop): Three roles — brief, alert, journal — with a human gate between them and no path from text to an order. Category: Bot stacks. - [Shock to position check](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/use-cases/shock-position-check): When a headline hits, an agent reads your inventory and writes what is exposed. You decide what to do. Category: Bot stacks. - [Scout, risk, and scribe desk](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/use-cases/scout-risk-scribe): A multi-agent handoff where a scout proposes, risk tries to kill it, and a scribe files only what you accepted. Category: Bot stacks. ## Site - [Home](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/): value proposition, featured use cases, category grid, sponsor slot, newsletter stub. - [All use cases](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/use-cases): filterable directory. - [About](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/about): anonymous mission and the stop line (no orders, no keys). - [Sponsors](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/sponsors): labeled placements, rates TBD, no affiliate program. - [Newsletter](https://crypto-agent-desk.pages.dev/newsletter): signup stub.
