Definition

A liquidity and holder check is a closer look at who can move the pool and who holds the supply, after the first rug screen did not hard-fail. It answers whether your size can exit, and whether a few wallets dominate the float. It still does not justify a buy.

Who it is for

Traders who already rejected the obvious mint and freeze fails and still need to see who can pull the pool.

Job to be done

Document LP ownership, lock or burn claims, depth versus the size you might trade, and holder concentration outside the pool.

Human gate. You decide if depth and concentration are acceptable for a size you name. The agent does not pick the size.

Inputs and outputs

Inputs

  • The pair that already passed your rug screen, with links
  • LP holder and any lock contract you found
  • Top holders excluding the pool, from the explorer
  • The size you might trade, so depth has a denominator

Outputs

  • Who holds LP and whether the lock is irreversible
  • Depth versus your size, called thin or not by your rule
  • Holder concentration with the pool separated out
  • A revisit trigger: any LP transfer

Step-by-step workflow

  1. 01Start only after the rug screenIf the first screen failed, do not soften it with a liquidity essay.
  2. 02Identify the LP holderOne holder or many. If it is a locker, note whether the owner can reclaim before the stated time. If you cannot tell, mark unknown.
  3. 03Compare depth to sizeUse your size, not a generic whale size. Write the rule that makes depth "too thin" before you see the number.
  4. 04Recompute holdersRemove the pool. Then look at the top remaining shares. Do not name wallets as teams or insiders without a source.
  5. 05Set a revisit triggerAny LP movement or a lock that expires inside your hold time sends you back to step two.
  6. 06Human gateYou accept the liquidity picture or you pass. Acceptance is not an order. The product screen is still separate.

Risks and failure modes

  • Burn address folklore

A wallet labeled burn by a website may not be the canonical burn address. Record the address role from the explorer, not the label on a dashboard.

  • Pool counted as a holder

The pool often looks like the top holder. Split it out or the concentration figure is nonsense.

  • Depth at the wrong size

A pool that absorbs a tiny probe can still move through your real size. Compare depth to the size you named.

Operator notes

This pass is about exit math. If you cannot describe who holds the LP in one sentence, you are not done.

Figures to paste, not recall

LP token address, top LP holders and shares, lock contract if any, pool depth, top token holders with the pool removed, your intended size.

Prompt you can paste

Liquidity and holder check. The rug screen already returned: SCREEN_RESULT.
Figures I pasted from the explorer: FIGURES.
My size: SIZE. My thin-depth rule: RULE. My concentration cap: CAP.
Say who holds the LP and whether a lock is irreversible or unknown.
Compare depth to my size. Recompute holders without the pool.
Do not name wallets as people. Do not recommend a buy.

Done when

You can say who can move the LP, whether your size fits the depth, and what event would make you rerun the check.

FAQ

Is burned liquidity always good?

It removes one way for that LP to be pulled. It does not fix mint risk, taxes, or a pool that is too small for your size.

How concentrated is too concentrated?

Use a threshold you wrote first. A number chosen after you like the token is not a threshold.

Should I cluster wallets?

Only as a question: funded around the same time, similar sizes. Do not present a cluster as a known person.
