Pre-trade token brief
A sourced one-pager before you size a spot or perp idea: what the asset is, what can reprice it, and what you have not checked.
Starter · 8 min
A research brief is a short, sourced memo an agent writes so a trader can decide whether an idea is worth more work. It records claims, dates, unknowns, and what would change the conclusion. It does not produce an order.

A forward calendar of unlocks, emissions, and who receives them, so supply events are dates on a page and not surprises in a chart.

A side-by-side of two protocols that do the same job, scored on facts you name ahead of time instead of a vibe ranking.

A scan of perp funding and spot-perp basis that lists candidates, the inventory you would need, and why most rows are a pass.

A research brief is a playbook for turning a trading question into a one-pass memo: sources, a bear case, and an explicit list of what is still unknown. The human accepts or rejects the memo before any size is discussed.
A price target invites the model to sound precise about a guess. These briefs ask for facts that can be checked and for the conditions that would kill the idea.
Rerun it when a load-bearing fact changes: a contract upgrade, an unlock, a venue listing, or a number you cited that is now stale. Do not rerun it because the price moved and you want the prose to agree.
