Definition
A points task queue is the day’s public tasks, ordered by the cap you have left, not by how many points a stranger claims they are worth. Points are not priced. The queue tracks what you spent and what you are still holding.
Who it is for
Traders who opted into a points program and need a queue that stops when the budget stops.
Job to be done
Turn the program’s own task list into a daily queue with a spend cap, a leftover-inventory check, and a hard stop.
Human gate. You approve the queue before you spend. Hitting the cap ends the day even if tasks remain.
Inputs and outputs
Inputs
- The in-app or docs task list for that day
- Remaining spend cap in the quote asset you chose
- Inventory you already hold because of prior tasks
- Tasks you refuse (leverage above a level, illiquid pools, anything you do not understand)
Outputs
- A short queue of allowed tasks with an estimated cost
- Tasks skipped, with the reason
- Cap remaining after the plan, before you touch a wallet
- A stop line when the cap is gone
Step-by-step workflow
- 01Reload the official listDo not reuse yesterday’s queue. Paste today’s tasks or describe them from the app you just opened.
- 02Apply the refuse listDrop anything over your leverage limit, anything you cannot exit, and anything you cannot explain.
- 03Estimate cost before pointsFee, slippage, and inventory you might be stuck with. Points are a label, not a price.
- 04Fit the capOrder tasks until the next one would break the cap. The rest are "not today", not "failed".
- 05Check leftover inventoryList what prior tasks left you holding. A new task that adds to a bag you dislike gets skipped.
- 06Human gateYou run the tasks yourself, in the app, until the cap. The agent does not click and does not value the points.
Suggested tool types
These are categories of tools, not product picks. Crypto Agent Desk does not certify vendors and does not run an affiliate program.
| Type | Why it is here |
|---|---|
| The program’s own task screen or docs | The queue should not invent tasks that are not in the program. |
| Chat model | Applies your refuse-list and cap math to the day’s list. |
| Notes or spreadsheet | Running cost and leftover inventory across days. |
| Block explorer | Optional check that yesterday’s task actually landed. |
Risks and failure modes
Points priced in your head
A model that converts points to a token value is guessing a market that may not exist. Ban that conversion.
Inventory drift
Tasks that leave you long a pool are positions. If the queue ignores leftover inventory, the cap is a lie.
Rule changes mid-campaign
Yesterday’s task can be worthless today. Re-read the official list each session instead of replaying it.
Operator notes
Points programs fail as accounting problems. The queue is a budget with a refuse list, not a score chase.
Daily card
Cap left, refuse list, official tasks, estimated cost, skipped and why, inventory still held, stop line.
Prompt you can paste
Make today's queue for PROGRAM.
Official tasks from the app: TASKS.
Cap remaining: CAP.
Refuse list: REFUSE.
Inventory I already hold from this program: INVENTORY.
Estimate cost. Do not price the points in any token.
Drop tasks on the refuse list or that break the cap.
If the cap is zero, return an empty queue and say stop.
Done when
You can see the cap after the plan, and you did not need a price for the points to decide.
FAQ
Should I rank tasks by points per dollar?
Only as a sort inside the cap, and only using points the app itself displays. Do not convert points into a future token price.
What if the cap is already blown by inventory?
The queue for new spend is empty. The review is whether to reduce what you already hold, which is a trade, not a task.
Can this run across several programs?
Give each program its own cap. A shared cap with no split is how one campaign eats the week.
